Well I did it! I tricked myself into casting on a sweater front.. or is it the back? Well I guess I will have to decide that later! I even got 25 rows done!
So I have a good start. By my calculations I need to do 80 rows to complete the 16 inches to make the total sweater length 22 ” I have a feeling I am going to need to add on about 4 rows, as again I didn’t take into account the garter stitch band at the bottom. Those rows are shorter than the over all gauge. I will adjust when the time comes.
So if I continue at the rate of 25 rows and evening, each half of the body will take about 3 nights.
Not bad!
So I could have 3/4 of a sweater by the end of the week..
I also need a portable project to take along this weekend. We have a church retreat, any ideas?
Isela sent me this:
Perhaps the wrist warmers I have been thinking of. Or mabye even a loomed Booga Bag.. if I can do it on my yellow knifty knitter. I will have to look that over.
Or perhaps a felted bucket hat? (I know I can do that on the knifty knitters!)
Gotta dig into the stash, and get some yarn used!
