Well, he’s gotten me twice already! ARGH! 😈 My loving dear sweet husband! 😉 Whilst getting ready for work, he mentioned how much he would like a cup of hot chocolate, and that he probably had just enough time to heat up a cup of water to make it before he left. Therefore, being the super sweet loving wife that I am and fortunate for him I had had at least one cup of coffee I cheerfully got out a cup and went to the sink to fill it with water, and was BLASTED by water spraying from the spray hose! Yep, the oldest trick in the book! UGH!

Meanwhile, while I was trying to be a super wonderful loving wife and still got him his water, he was running amuck in the house.
He then asked if we had anything to eat. I said we had hard boiled eggs. He said sounds good, but there he was watching to make sure I didn’t give him the other kind! Ah well.

So I sat down to write a little bit in the blog, and my mouse wouldn’t work. Hmmmmm. I flipped it over and he had taped a peice of paper over the laser. GRRRRR!

What next? Celophane on the toilet? Rubber snakes in the bed? Turning off the hot water heater so I get a cold blast in the shower?

Ah April Fool’s day is never dull with him around! I guess that’s why I am such and April Fool for him!

AWHHHHH

(excuse me while I quickly change the password on my BLOG!)

Well my package from Delia didn’t come today! 😕 Oh well I guess that means it should be waiting for me when I get back from the church retreat! And hey an aside to my secret pal, I will be taking the book with me! What better place to contemplate the spiritual impact that my knitting can have than the church retreat!
I am up to row 70 on the sweater body, I am going for 100, but checking it along the way. It’s looking pretty nice! But I can’t drag that 30″ loom to the church retreat so it will just have to stay at home. But you won’t be dissapointed! I am also taking along a couple of small looms, to work on some ideas I have been wanting to try. Chances are I will only be able to knit on the way there and back *note to self: pack the booklight* but that ought to be enough to try out some great new ideas! I’ll give you a peek on Monday!
The bad thing is that I have to return Scarf Style and Knitting on the Edge to the library! I was in love! But alas, they are BRAND NEW and I was the first to check them out neener neener neener and so I am sure there is a line up waiting for them. I sure hope that this indicates a trend toward carrying more knitting books at our library. The selection is currently thinner than Twiggy.

I am also a bit stressed as I am choosing and requesting yarns for the book projects. I have to do some quick changes as some of the yarns I chose are going to be discontinued. Er cough Cotton Ease & Kool Wool cough cough 😉

So all this going back and forth is tedious, I just want to get to the knitting!! Oh well soon enough!

See Ya’ll on Monday!
