Yet another ruffle!

the peasant style

So how’s that. It’s not quite there yet. I used some DK weight yarn on the small gauge board to make this one.
It’s not too bad but I want to play with it a little more.

It’s begining to feel like Christmas around here.

First the circular needles….

Purty!

Then the yarn from Caron for the book…

Jewel Box pretty nice

Then the package from Lion Brand Yarn, also for the book…

So many yarns to play with!!

So Brian turned to me and said, well, I’ll see you in a couple months when you are done knitting! Forunately I have till August, so it won’t be like the mad rush for the proposal samples. But I find myself muttering to myself of all the little things I will need to get to accomplish this goal. I think I will need another one of my handy dandy row counters. The click it kind, unless I can come up with a program for my PDA! Now that would be cool, especially if it can keep track of more than one project.
And I am sitting here looking at the yarn hoping I ordered enough!! Well It’ll come together!

And then to help me celebrate and relax after that big deadline, a trip to Maine in September!!
Halcyon yarn here I come!

Tonight I will take a one night break from casting on the next part of the sweater to try out those circular needles. I have decided to dig into the stash of Cascade 220 I got on that great sale at Little Knits, and do a Sophie bag. It should be simple enough, it starts out simple enough.. the only snaffoo is I don’t have any stitch markers.. hmmm gotta get something else at ye old yarn shoppe!(next week)

Wow, I am becoming downright bi-lingual!
I hope my looms won’t get too jealous!
