Well it has been a busy busy week! The kids had vacation bible school (even though we have not officially made it to summer vacation yet!) an Caleb and I stayed and helped while the big kids attended class. So I was helping a bunch of kids put together crafts, putting out materials all while trying to keep a nearly two year old happy!
It was interesting!
Thesnake sized worms escaped (with a little help) and had to be wrangled back into their container in the kitchen. Brian just could not resist the temptation of chasing me around with two of them! Luckily Azia is a little more brave around worms!
Let’s just say if one of those suckers comes crawling out from under the stove at me there is goinna be trouble!
Tuesday was the trip to the zoo. It was enjoyed by all! We sure were tired by the end of the day thoough! (sorry no pictures they are on a certain memory card which is in someones handheld pc)
Then the rest of the week VBS, and school work!
I have finally decided that the percentages the virtual academy has listed for completion will be enough for me. I will stop pushing for ‘Mastery’ so I don’t drive everyone nuts!
I pulled two book projects off the looms unfinished as they will need to be photographed in progress for how to illustrations. So I was able to glue some pegs back in. Here they are with the
Gorilla glue curing with my accompianment tape case on top..
I will cast on for two more book projects this weekend.
The tapes are out waiting for me to pick one to sing this Sunday. I had cast on for a One Skein Wonder (to wear special for the event) but I just don’t think I have the knit one in front and back quite right. So I don’t think it is going to get done!
I also had a very strange dream. I love the idea of the Addi Weave needles. And I got the shrug pattern from Briar Rose which calls for size 19 needles. Well I don’t have any size 19’s and I was thinking just how big they must be. This all translated into me dreaming that I was knitting with my turkey basters!! Using them to make the Briar Rose Shrug with another colour of yarn woven through like the Addi Weaves! What a crazy thought.. hmmmmm….
