Postcard from the edge

(to be read in the voice of Bob the baby on those subway comercials (who by the way is a girl) as this is a baby blanket edge talking here)

Hey psst.. yeah it’ s me the insanely long edge from Denise’s last book project.
Over here!
It’s gotten quiet around here. At least for a while. The looms are empty,
All quiet!
the knitting notions are all being put away.
Shhh they're sleeping!
The extra yarn is tucked away in it’s box,
Ahhhh more for the next design project!
the finished projects are safe and sound in their box,
Safe and sound!
and I am pinned to the guest be for one last blocking session. Azia said I looked pretty good, that I make the whole thing look better! Now what did she say, oh yeah, I make it look “money better”! Now that’s a compliment!

You’ve heard the old saying ‘don’t wash your hair on a rainy day.’ well that applies to blocking your knitting too, so needless to say Denise has set up the big fan to dry me off. Man, it feels pretty good! Just hook me up with a baby bottle on the rocks, and I ‘ll be set..
Pretty soon I will be tucked into the box with the other projects on our way to sunny CA!

Denise will be headed to Maine.. Maine? what was she thinking? She should be headed out to CA with us! It’ll be much warmer. Oh well. I wouldn’t count on hearing from her much in the next week, you know what I mean! A soon as I am off the guest bed that thing is going to be turned into vacation staging area A. So things will pick up around here again.

So toodles catch ya later.
