Who knew rounding numbers could be so much fun for toddlers and preschoolers?
I am going to have to see if Brian can help me store and link a little video I took of the kids this morning.
Jaxom was doing a math activity online which involved rounding numbers. He would click on the number that the given one would berounded to and then the program made a silly kind of musical sound with the tone going up if he rounded up or down if he went down. Caleb and Julian thought it was just awsome! They squealed and laughed everytime they heard the tone. And chanted “again again!” It was cute. Jaxom ended up doing the activity about 5 times till Azia took over to do it so he could do the rest of his lesson!

Here are a few shots of art classes:

Caleb's first painting!

Caleb liked painting!

You wanna buy a duck?

Shh..
Serious artist at work!

Is that Spiderman?
Even Spiderman got in on the action!

Yesterday was crazy. Caleb got stung by a bee, and fortunately did not react but everything stopped for the rest of the day so I could monitor him and he could sleep off the Benadryl! So a good part of the house got cleaned! Floors got mopped, and dished got washed. All that stuff that gets ignored when I am teaching!
I even got some knitting done. I finished Jack’s hat, except for the embroidery.
I was bad and didn’t get any looms set up. I will get some done today. I also got the yarn I traded with Isela for! Its some pretty Noro. She has a little contest on her blog for some more you should go check it out!

Today is much better! Schoolwork is going more smoothly, and Caleb and Julian are keeping busy with their train set. Yeah!
