That’s what is left of the yarn for the loom photo shoot! All the looms are set up and packed in their box and ready to go! My knitting time is mostly my own again!
Ok.. I am exhausted. I still havn’t been sleeping well and last night when I was sleeping I was woken up by some wicked wind. I was suprised by how little damage there was to the trees, as there were 60 mph gusts of wind.
I have been getting some knitting done really!
I made a few soap sacks to put in health packs for hurricane victims that our church is putting together.
The yarn came and I finished the second sleeve for my Noro shrug. Now I need to block it.
(pictures later) I also need to figure out what to do with the half a ball of yarn that is left over. I think after I join and seam the sleeves I will pick up stitches and put a little garter stitch border on it in the round. It won’t go too far but it will give it a more finished look.
I have a lace edge washcloth on the needles right now also, and when that is done I will start the squares for the Diva Knitting Challenge.
So that ought to keep me busy.
I am playing around on the knitting board too, I am going to try cables again. Perhaps the little experiment can get sent to the challenge too!
