Where in the world?(is Julian’s other sock)

Well Quiddity has a little contest to show your hand knit sock stash.
So I thought I would join in. After all one of the prizes is some Lorna’s Laces yarn and Lorna being my mentor so to speak (at least she is the one who got me the book deal) I just have to enter any and all contests where the prize is yarn from her namesake company! (besides it’s such nice yarn and I have never had any of it!)

It used to have a mate. But it is lost. It is somewhere out there, beneath the big blue sky…

So I thought. Hey let’s use that lonely sock for a great geography lesson! |I home school so this should be fun! We will send that sock out to see the world!

I will send it out. And you have to take a picture of it in your area. Tell us where it is and if you want send us a post card or something from your area so we can learn a little bit about it. We will mark it on a map and mabye send you out a little something as a thank you.

Then please send it on to another friendly knitter and we will see how far it goes!
Can a sock make it around the world?
We shall see!
