‘more important than Dante and Giotto were, well… the sheep.’

And now for a little history!
The title is aquote from our history lesson. Azia and I said “yeah sheep!
Aparently in the rennaisance Florence Italy was full of sheep! The wool industry was huge! And the Medici family was, well, the first mafia family.They pretty much ran everything in the background. But to keep this quiet they led humble lives. Riding on mules and living in little villas..

Yes but isn’t that scultpure just stunning? And hey if there are still lots of sheep in Florence I would love to go and see it!

  2. I didn’t see any sheep in/around Florence and we stayed in the country at a winery. Wonder where they keep the sheep??? Maybe they have to hide them from tourists 🙂
