Charity Knitting.

Well last month I have been mostly doing knitting for charity.
There have been the squares for Diva’s Challenge.. which ended with 17 participants and 60 squares which will make a few toasty blankets for people in need. Go cheer her on as she has the challenge of joining all those squares together!

Then there are the soap sacks for Cloths for Katrina group. I have a few more of these to make before I send them on! It’s an ongoing project. These people will be in need for some time.

Then some items for our church auction. A couple of hats, (one which Azia claimed!) and the cravat neckwarmer from Knitscene. Also that finger knit scarf will go in the mix! After I put a fringe on it!

I have been mostly using yarn that I won in contests for this! It’s a cool way to do it economically for me. Since we can’t really afford to make any donations that are of signifigance.
