I am drinking my coffee black this morning and that is not what woke me up this morning!
It was this post by Kimberi that did that!
It’s my blogaversary! wow! I needed the coffee to realise that!
Anyway.. in case you hadn’t noticed there have been a few changes around chez KWON..
Let me point them out!
My great wonderful and terrific husband has has a bit of a run of insomnia. So he has been playing around and making new features for the blog (not to mention setting up the entire Purls of Hope site)
Over to the left on the blue bar you will notice our New features! The one is knitting in the news.. This is really cool! It goes out and finds knitting stories out there on news sites and puts them all in one place!
So if you want to be in the know, go check it out.. and it’s always changing so keep looking!?
On the link to me page there are some new buttons he created for Knitting Without Needles! Very nice, and he even created that knifty knitting board graphic up in the upper left corner there! Very nice!
There is a Google search bar over there in case you need it..
Down at the bottom there is a Google ad bar. I do get a little kick back from this if you click on ads and that will go a ways to help keep this site up and go to the cost of the space for the Purls of Hope site so click on there once in a while and it will help us out!
Also any of you KWON related businesses can sponser an ad down there as well!
Enough about that.
The knitting olympics draw near and I have had to change what I am making. I will be tackling the Picovoli T with the picot edge I think. I have the yarn, need to get a swatch done to see about what needles I will need.
I think it is very doable.. I’m small! but the needles are small too.. Though I will probably need to do it on 5’s.
So wish me luck!
Oh yeah.. there is that little matter of a contest isn’t there. There was a grand total of 4 guesses I think. And Tina is the only one who guessed correctly!
I am making the turtleneck shrug from Scarf Style! So I will be emailing Tina to get some yarn out to her! And my hope is that I will get it done before the olympics start!
