Things are picking up here. There is a new Olympic Loom Knitter’s team site found here. Thanks to Isela! She rocks!
So bop over and sign up to join the team!
Only a couple of days before the challenge starts so hurry! You can even post your pics and progress over there so if you ever wanted to try blogging without the full commitment here is your chance!
I almost got two washclothes done for my Purls of Hope package last night. That was my goal. But one of my little guys had a different idea of what was important last night.. Cuddling with Mommy..
So I have to dig out my larger crochet hook and add some edging to them today.
Then off to get some foodstuff to put in the box; and off it goes.
Which is a good thing. There is a goal of getting packages there, at least as many as possible, by the 18th. Angela will be returning to the area to distribute them, and she is arranging for CNN to come and do the follow up they promised to do. So if you are prepping a box please get it out ASAP! The clinic in Bay St. Louis will store them till Angela gets there.. or the Wilson’s will take them as soon as they get them to the relief center. If you are scratching your head wondering what I am talking about then please go to Purls of Hope and see what you can do to help!
And if you know anyone with any heavy equipment…. throw them in the box too!! They still need help with clean up!
Hey! Anyone got contact information on that guy that knits with backhoes??
