Day 4:One Point Deduction!

What? This swatch is smaller than the rest? It’s not quite up to Knitting Olympic standards?

Well! If the Chinese team can with the silver after that huge fall and restart I figure I am ok.

This little swatch is the double woven stitch on the loom. It was TEDIOUS! No one will want to do this stitch on the loom. It is too much work and really does not look that good. Perhaps if I used the flat stitch it would look better. But for now it is tabled and I am moving on.The larger swatch will go in my Purls of Hope box that should be filled up and going out tonight!

Happy Random Button Day!!

  1. yeah, i gotta say that while I sympathized with the woman who took that fall yesterday, their performance was not really in the same neighborhood as the chinese team that took bronze. they should make me a judge! Id’ set them all straight!!

  2. Wow, me matey, this is one booty of a site you’ve crafted here! As a pirate-loving nor’easterly wave piloting fellow knitter, I’m mightily impressed. Ahar, and all that. Reminds of a trip to Cornwall where my husband greeted the parking lot attendent (a salty-looking fellow) with a ‘Ahar, me matey. It ain’t me finger and it ain’t me thumb’ (don’t ask) and the old-salt-that-wasn’t leaned over and grinned: “Cut the guff, mate. I’m from Africa, too.”

Hmm…maybe you had to be there.

Anyway, congratulations pn the launch of this merry little site.
