Life gets in the way.

I have a bunch of projects that I need to get work on but it seems this week and weekend life just gets in the way of knitting!.

We are getting ready to have guests.. trying to get that kitchen floor done so that is taking up some time. Trying to catch up on some laundry so it’s not taking over the house and that takes up time. I thought I had it made when it was overcast on Saturday morning… get everyone working on stuff inside and get some knitting done too. But it got sunny again. So it didn’t work out like I planned.

Then yesterday was the youth basket auction at church, I took some knitting with me but it didn’t get worked on.. Caleb just wouldn’t stay in the room so I was constantly off an looking for him.

So my grand total of knitting this weekend consisted of pulling back the one thing I was trying out for Isela back to where I needed to be, and doing a bit of knitting on the sock. I did manage to get the heel turned. So i guess that’s progress!

So my grand plans for this week are to get that sock done, get the other knit done, and get the hat I have all the parts for started at least getting the fairisle brim done..

And clean clean clean (now that I bought yet another cheap mop) and get the floor tile laid as far as I can take it. I think I can get the main part done..
