The munching hour..

We all know that midnight is the witching hour.. the time for creepy crawly things that go bump in the night to come out and… well go bump..

Around my house we have a quite different hour… it starts generally around 4:30 pm.. the little vultures start circling.. waiting for something to munch on.

Nothing is safe now that Caleb our youngest has discovered how to use the backs of our kitchen chairs as ladders.. heck he cna reach things in the cupboard even I can’t reach..

Oh boy look at those dimples.. lock up your daughters now!!

Inevidably once a week he will get into the refrigerator (we gave up on the ‘childproof’ lock ages ago.) and get and egg out and it always ends up all over the floor.

So I have taken to coding our eggs.. the hard boiled ones have little smiley faces drawn on them.. so far it seems to be working.. a little. mabye..

  1. Hey Denise, love your website!

One teeny tip about the eggs…I taught mine at an early age to test the eggs before cracking them by spinning them on the counter. Raw eggs wobble slowly, hard cooked ones spin fast. The kids thought this was a hoot and it saved quite a few messy cleanups.

    BTW, your blankets are lovely.
