Down the Drain..

You know it’s a bad day when you give up on it before lunch.

It’s only the 5th day of schooling here at home and I just got so frustrated with distractions, and not being able to find the music CD, and a meltdown Jaxom had this morning that I am ready to throw them all on the bus.

So I stopped schooling and started cleaning.

Then this afternoon the drain guy showed up. Bad timing dude.. sorry. I toyed with the idea of just outright throwing him off the property.. since he had left the sewage tank covers.. well less than covered.. when he was here to look things over. You know.. something about the fact that I have three out of four children who could actually fall through those openings gets to a mother..

But I heard him out.. and was actually able to civilly let him know I was very unhappy with the way he had left things.. you would have been proud of me.. really.. I did good. I have a feeling my ‘discussion’ with him lowered the estimate a bit.. so we will see if he gets the job.. we still have a bad reccomendation from a person who is practically family to the guy.

Now, as I type I am being outfited with these spectacular rings..

Aren’t they cool? These and a little more scrubbing and some coupon usage at Joann’s tommmorow might just do the trick.. but for now back to scrubbing! Nothing like a clean house to do your soul good.. eh?
