But what of 2006?
I heard a good quote yesterday “Who you are *today* is a direct result of the decisions you’ve made in the last six months.”
Here you go, who I am today is because of this:
Gained or lost weight? Gained then lost then gained.. on the whole I am up a pound or two..Longer or shorter hair? About the same.
Nearsighted or farsighted? Neither!
More money or less? More.. but I have my own mad money now!
Spent more or spent less? More.. see above..
Moved more or less? Didn’t move at all..
The most stupid plan? Trying to knit with turkey basters…
The most dangerous endeavour? Doing battle with the nasty little bees that set up housekeeping in the doorjamb of our front door.
The best sex? Hmmm well I’m not telling.. hehehhe.. I’m married I’m allowed!;)
The most expensive purchase? My Louet spinning wheel.
The most delicious meal? Oooooh whenever my husband cooks! (the Ken Stewarts Grille dinner was ok too..)
The most impressing book? Books? Who has time for books!
The most impressing movie? Oooh dear I can’t remember any movies impressing me.. oh boy I am getting old.. I know one did.. well I will edit if I remember.
The best CD? hmm.. Devotion by the Newsboys..
The most impressive concert? hmm didn’t go to any this year.
Spent the most time with? my kids..
Spent the most quality time with? Brian..
Predominant feeling 2006? Overwhelmed!
Done for the first time in 2006? Spinning on a spinning wheel.
Done again after a long pause in 2006? Gosh nothing really havn’t picked anything back up this year!
Three things I could have well done without? Stomach flu!!Nasty head cold.. Brian and Caleb’s athsma!
The most important thing I wanted to persuade someone of? To persuade people to donate to the Pearlington Project. And to persuade some of the bigger knit bloggers to link to it!The nicest present I gave someone? The Wireless headphones that I got for my husband.. (well hopefully) they get here tommorrow!
2006 summarized in one word: Whirlwind
AHHHHH my husband tagged me!!

While some of your questions were humorous, your article today does encourage us to pay more attention to the choices we make each day….they DO add up to the person we will be 6 months from now. Maybe it would be easier for us to think in shorter 6 month blocks for personal development than in the usual January 1st for a year habit we’re in.
Thoughtful posting, thanks…….
