It seems like the last few days have been slipping by without notice around here. There was a guild meeting on Tuesday night, however I crashed on the futon in Brian’s office about the time it started and slept till 9:30. The rest of the week has been no better.. So things have been slow here. I am without a specifice project that needs to be finished, so I am back to my ADD knitting ways of popping from this to that and not settling on a project. My socks have stalled after the toe section of the second, and I have picked up and dreamed about many others and started a few too to no avail.
I feel the need for some instant gratification knitting, so last night I picked up my huge needles, and my huge ball of Lion
Brand Romance yarn and started knitting this. Perhaps a little something to wear to the Great Lakes Fiber Show and Sale at the end of the month!
The other thing that has been keeping me away is the end of year crunch. Sitting down cleaning up my ‘paperwork’ for the school, doing the math and figuring out exactly what we need to do to get done by the June 15th deadline. So I suppose I am focusing on that deadline.
I am nearly finished with my editing for the next issue of Loom Knitters Circle as well. It looks like it is shaping up to be a fun and interesting issue I look forward to seeing it out there!!
