Ravelring and Twittering…must be a social networking kind of day!

Are you on Ravelry? If not you should be! The waiting list is moving so much faster than it did when I first signed up! It is a great social network for knitters, crocheters and fiber artists! Since I already showed you my finished object for Friday yesterday, I have been spending a chunk of time this morning adding my projects, and patterns that I haven’t taken the time to add. It is also a great place to network, and get ideas and answers to questions! Everywhere I turn there is inspiration and information!!

I have also popped open my Twitter gadget on my Windows Vista Sidebar. It’s pitiful by Brian was glad to see this so now he doesn’t have to call me from upstairs if he wants to let me know something.. yep.. he works from home and still calls me from work?? Figure that out! Too bad I can’t tell him to grab some milk on the way home from work anymore!

    Hubby calls me from his cell phone when we’re both at home, rather than track me down 🙂 So silly!

    Admittedly, I am the *only* person on the planet wh doesn’t get Ravelry. I jumped on and got my acceptance email long before a lot of other “real” knitters. Why spend so much time online talking and wishing and stash flashing than actually knitting? See, I truely *don’t* get it.

    The husband can be sitting right next to me playing the same online game and will type at me rather than, you know, open his mouth. That drives me nuts, which is probably why he does it!
