Yep. You know it. If you have been reading my blog for a bit you are nodding your head saying yep that’s not news!

So I got my little iPod Touch.

I

LOVE

IT!

And of course I have to find a way to work it with my craft  right?

That on the screen is Stitchminder. It’s a great little free app for the iPhone or iPod Touch that helps you keep track of your stitches. You can count rows, what pattern row you are on how many pattern repeats you have done and increase and decrease rows all at the same time! (if you need to!) What is not to like about that?

I love it! I used it on Saturday when I was at the sock class. And there is my count right where I left off from Saturday! Nice!!

And it seems they are coming out with another app called Knitminder. This one sounds interesting too. It will include project organizers, work logs, inventories and even a way to see what yarn shops are nearby!

Sounds great to me! I can’t wait to download it!!

So if you are a knitter with an iPhone or iPod Touch.. run and get your own copy!

  1. Fancy pants…how exciting. That stitchminder thing sounds really cool. I myself am intimidated by gadgets…it seriously took me forever to figure out just the simple features on my phone. Good thing my husband is great with those sort of things!

  2. Got it. I find all those apps just so seductive. I knew I was in trouble when I was considering paying money to get a faux koi pond app installed. But the fish are very pretty…

  3. That’s a handy application! One that I would use. I am now looking at my Smart Phone with disgust.
